Renewal – Together with the Nation!

As part of initiatives to reduce corruption, enhance legal awareness, and foster socially responsible civic behavior, the Atyrau regional branch of the Nationwide Anti-Corruption Movement “Zhanaru” continues to carry out a series of systematic activities.
“Law and order” is the fundamental principle of state-building. This principle is, in fact, the foundation of a mature democracy and a legal state. Without adherence to law and order, and without respect for legal norms, we cannot build a Just and Prosperous Kazakhstan. Therefore, our duty is to embed this principle into the system of national values and make it an integral part of society and everyday life,” stated President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
In this context, a public reception was organized at the “BAIZAAR” shopping and entertainment center as part of the “Law and Order” initiative. The event was a joint effort by the Atyrau regional branch of the “Zhanaru” Nationwide Anti-Corruption Movement, the Center for the Study of Corruption Issues, and the Atyrau Region Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with the participation of local government bodies.
The event brought together representatives from the Atyrau Regional and City Prosecutor’s Offices, the Anti-Corruption Agency’s Department for Atyrau Region, the Atyrau Region Police Department, the Department of Justice, the Atyrau Bar Association, and the Atyrau branch of the Public Association “International Human Rights Center” Mediation Center.
The main objectives of the event were:
• To provide legal assistance to citizens in public service matters
• To strengthen public trust in local government bodiesЪ
• To improve legal literacy among the population
• To establish direct and open communication with the public by listening to individual concerns and exploring possible solutions
Most of the questions raised by citizens received immediate responses on site. Cases requiring further review were taken under special supervision for follow-up, receiving appreciation from the public.
Such initiatives are planned to continue in the future.
