Atatürk University Scholar Assiye Şimşek Ademi Received by the Rector
As part of the “Orhun” Academic Mobility Program among Turkic-speaking countries, Dr. Assiye Şimşek Ademi, a special guest from the Republic of Türkiye, was received by the Rector of Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University.
During the meeting, Rector Salamat Idrissov and Dr. Şimşek Ademi discussed strengthening bilateral academic and scientific cooperation, developing joint projects, and enhancing exchange programs.
Dr. Assiye Şimşek Ademi is a faculty member at Atatürk University in Erzurum, Türkiye. She is a qualified specialist conducting research in the fields of sociology, political science, and international relations.
She is widely known for her in-depth academic work in these areas, particularly her study titled “Migrants from Afghanistan,” which has drawn significant attention. In this research, she provides a comprehensive analysis of migration issues, offering a socio-political perspective on international migration processes.
From April 21 to 26, 2025, the Turkish scholar will conduct lectures, seminars, and master classes at our university’s Department of Journalism and Public Relations.
