Times Higher Education Impact Rankings

Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University considers entry into the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings as a strategic objective in the medium term. Participation in this ranking is viewed not only as a tool for enhancing international visibility, but also as a catalyst for institutional transformation focused on sustainable development, social responsibility, and continuous improvement of academic quality.

The University plans to undertake comprehensive preparatory work for participation in the ranking, including an internal audit of performance indicators aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the establishment of a monitoring system for sustainability metrics, and the development of a phased implementation roadmap. Particular emphasis will be placed on quality education, research development, inclusive policies, gender equality, environmental responsibility, and strengthened international partnerships.

A key priority will be the advancement of research activities addressing pressing regional challenges, including sustainable development of the Caspian region, rational use of natural resources, and environmental protection.
