On October 17, 2024, organized by the Akzhaiyk State Nature Reserve in honor of the “Forestry Workers’ Day” and as part of the nationwide environmental campaign “Taza Kazakhstan,” 3rd-year students of the 6B05201 – “Applied Ecology” program at Atyrau University named after Kh. Dosmukhamedov participated in tree planting in the Primorsky area of the nature reserve.
The activity was conducted under the guidance of the Department of Ecology faculty, who instructed students on proper tree planting techniques, care for seedlings, and explained the importance of forests for the regional ecosystem. Students gained practical outdoor experience, learned to organize environmental initiatives, and increased awareness of biodiversity conservation.
Participation in the campaign represents an important step in fostering environmental culture and responsibility among youth, while supporting greening initiatives and improving the ecological situation in the Atyrau region.
