Biography

Bazargaliyev Gabit Bagytzhanuly is a Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences and an Associate Professor. He was born on March 24, 1972, at Mukyr railway station, Kyzylkoga District, Guryev Region (now Atyrau Region). From 1979 to 1989, he studied at Miyaly Secondary School in Zhangeldin village. In 1989, he entered the Faculty of History and Philology at the Guryev Pedagogical Institute, which he graduated from in 1994 with a degree in “History, Social Studies, and Fundamentals of Law.” In the same year, he began his professional career as a trainee lecturer at the Department of General and Folk Pedagogy of Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau State University. From 1994 to 1997, he continued his full-time postgraduate studies at the same department, after which he worked as a senior lecturer and associate professor. In 2002, he successfully defended his candidate dissertation entitled “Ideas of Patriotic Education in the Enlightenment Activities and Creative Works of Professor Kh. Dosmukhamedov” and was awarded the degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences. He is one of the founders of the academic discipline “Khaleltanu,” developed its curriculum, and introduced it into the university’s educational program. From 1997 to 2001, he served as Chairman of the University Student Trade Union Committee, actively participating in youth education. From 2008 to 2011, he was Head of the Department of General and Folk Pedagogy; from 2011 to 2013, Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Arts. From 2013 to 2022, he worked as an Associate Professor at the Pedagogy Department-Laboratory, and since 2022 he has been working as an Associate Professor at the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy. His scientific research focuses on current issues in pedagogy and psychology. He has published more than 200 scientific articles, textbooks, and teaching-methodological materials, and supervised 38 master's theses. His articles have been published in national journals such as “Kazakhstan Teacher,” “Ulagat,” “Egemen Kazakhstan,” “Kazakh Literature,” and “Kazakhstan School,” as well as other academic publications. He actively participates in international and national scientific-practical conferences.
