Biography
Yerkebulan Zhumadenuly Sharip is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Fine Arts and Design of H. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University and holds a Master’s degree in Pedagogical Sciences. He was born on January 28, 1982. From 1999 to 2003, he studied at H. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau State University, majoring in Fine Arts and Technical Drawing. In 2014–2016, he completed his Master’s degree at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University in the same specialty. He began his professional career in 2003 and has since been working at H. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University at the Department of Fine Arts and Design, progressing from Senior Lecturer to his current position. In his teaching practice, he applies modern methods in teaching engineering graphics, light and shadow theory, and perspective. He continuously develops his professional competencies. He has completed training in Adobe Photoshop and SketchUp and participated in seminars on effective teaching organized by the Center of Pedagogical Excellence of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools. He also completed a course on “Methodology of Applied Research” for higher education and college instructors. He participated in the international seminar “Textile Design and Art” at Akdeniz University (Türkiye). Additionally, he has undertaken professional development in inclusive education and improving teaching quality. His academic and methodological work focuses on developing modern teaching methods in engineering graphics, light and shadow theory, and perspective, as well as creating digital educational resources and integrating information technologies into education. Mr. Sharip supervises student research projects and provides academic guidance to school students, contributing to the development of their research and creative skills. His research has been published in international conference proceedings and addresses issues such as enhancing students’ cognitive development through dialogic teaching, preparing students for design activities, developing professional competencies, and implementing innovations in art education. For his professional contributions, he has been awarded Letters of Appreciation from L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University in 2022 and 2023.
