Meruert Imangalikyzy Akhonova

Meruert Imangalikyzy Akhonova is a Master’s degree holder and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Journalism and Public Relations, Faculty of Humanities and Arts, H. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University. She was born on November 6, 1968, in Atyrau. In 1993, she graduated from the Faculty of Journalism at S.M. Kirov Kazakh State University. She began her professional career at the Atyrau Regional Television and Radio Company as a correspondent and editor, and later worked as a journalist for the independent regional newspaper Ak Zhaiyk. Since 2004, she has been a member of the Union of Journalists of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Since 2021, she has been working as a Senior Lecturer at H. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University. She actively participates in international scientific and practical conferences. In 2025, she took part in an international conference held at Berdakh Karakalpak State University. In 2025, she was awarded a Certificate of Honor by the отраслевой trade union of education, science, and higher education workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
