Alumni Association of Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University

The Alumni Association is a voluntary association of graduates established to carry out activities based on the common interests of university students and alumni.

Mission

To unite and promote the social advancement of graduates of all generations.

Graduates of any graduation year, as well as university employees, may become members of the Association.

Objectives of the Association

* To foster a spirit of corporatism, mutual assistance, and cooperation.
* To support and enhance the image of the higher educational institution and preserve its scientific and cultural traditions.
* To maintain and develop connections between graduates and the university, as well as among graduates themselves.
* To ensure broad alumni participation in the implementation of the university’s development projects.
* To organize and coordinate anniversary reunions for graduates of different years.
* To contribute to the professional training of students through round tables, conferences, internships, and practical training, as well as to support educational activities, student clubs, and creative groups.
* To strengthen the spirit of intelligence, humanity, tolerance, and democracy.
* To widely disseminate information about the university, its traditions, history, and current activities.
* To strengthen the corporate spirit among students and alumni of all generations, promoting alumni unity, social advancement, and self-realization.
* To improve the effective use of the intellectual potential of university graduates and the university’s opportunities for training and retraining specialists demanded by the labor market and capable of successful career growth. United and successful graduates can contribute to the progressive development of the university.

Main Tasks of the Association

To achieve these goals, the Association carries out the following tasks:

* To enhance the prestige of the university by organizing and developing interaction among graduates and maintaining cultural, creative, and business relations with the university.
* To participate in career guidance activities for young people and assist in student recruitment, graduate placement, and employment.
* To establish social partnerships and coordinate the mutual interests of employers, state and local authorities, educational institutions, public organizations, and the university.
* To assist graduates with employment and internship opportunities.
* To contribute to the improvement and development of students’ cultural and educational activities.
* To promote effective social partnership.
* To coordinate and implement mutual interests between employers, government agencies, educational institutions, public organizations, and the university.
* To organize online communication and networking with alumni.

Chairman of the Alumni Association of Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University

Berdibek Aiyrbekovich Tumyshev

Berdibek Aiyrbekovich Tumyshev was born on August 10, 1984, in the city of Kulsary, Zhylyoi District, Atyrau Region. He is an ethnic Kazakh and a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Education

From 1991 to 2001, he completed his secondary education. Between 1991 and 1996, he studied at Secondary School No. 16 named after Dalabay Zhazykbayev in Kulsary.

From 2001 to 2006, he graduated from Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau State University with a degree in Ecology and Environmental Management.

From 2009 to 2011, he graduated from the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technologies of Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau State University with a degree in Computer Science.

In 2013, he enrolled in the Master’s program in Computer Science (specialty 6M060200) at the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technologies of Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau State University.

Professional Activity

Since 2004, he has been working at Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University.

Currently, he serves as the Head of the Publishing Center “ASU Publishing House” of Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University.

Awards

He has been awarded:

* A Letter of Appreciation from the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev;
* A Letter of Appreciation from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev;
* The title of “Honorary Graduate” from the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
* Letters of Appreciation from the university rector.

Family Status

Married, father of three sons and one daughter.
