Scientific activity

Scientific work at the Department of Finance and Accounting is organized in accordance with the curriculum. The department conducts scientific research within the framework of the scientific school "Economic Research and Business". The purpose of the scientific school is to create a research environment, organize collective research activities, exchange ideas and develop scientific traditions. Students of the department actively participate in scientific competitions and conduct research:

                  1) at the International Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists "Youth and Science: Present and Future", dedicated to the Scientist's Day on April 12, 2025, organized at the Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, 1st place was taken by student 6B04104 – Accounting, Audit and Business Process Analysis A.N. Bershkali. Scientific supervisor: Kenzhegalieva Z.Zh. At this scientific and practical conference, the 3rd place was taken by student 6B04104 - Accounting, audit and business process Analysis. Scientific supervisor: Kadyrbergenova A.K., 2025.

                  2) At the initiative of the Board of Directors of Atyrau University named after H. Dosmukhamedov, in the competition of intra-university student research papers "Presentation of student research initiatives", the 3rd place was taken by student 6B04104 – Accounting, audit and business process analysis A.N. Bershkali. Scientific supervisor: Kenzhegalieva Z.Zh., 2025.

                  3) In the annual competition of research papers of students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of Finance, student 6B04105-Finance and undergraduate analyst A.S. Atsybayeva took 2nd place. Supervisor: Turdalieva R.U., 2025.

4) In the international competition of scientific papers "Green Economy in the context of climate change: challenges and prospects", students 6B04105-Finance and Undergraduate Analytics M.A. Maratova, M.S. Nurlygozhieva took 1st place. Scientific supervisor: Akhmetova G.T., 2025.       

                  5) Students of the Faculty of Finance and Analytics 6B04105-MA Maratova, M.S. Nurlygozhieva, A. Yelevsinov received a letter of thanks for participating in the interuniversity student project competition "Business Sharks". Scientific supervisor: Akhmetova G.T., 2025.

                  6) International student competition of scientific papers "Prospects for reducing the carbon footprint of companies: challenges and successes" for the scientific paper "Reducing the carbon footprint of the economy of Kazakhstan: challenges, opportunities and contribution of Atyrau region" (6B04105).
