UPGRADE Course on Inclusive Education Underway at the University
At Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, a professional development course is currently being held for alumni working in the field of education, under the theme:
“Methods of Pedagogical and Psychological Support for Children with Special Educational Needs in an Inclusive Learning Environment.”
The course is free of charge and has a duration of 72 hours. The program covers the principles of inclusive education, characteristics of children with special educational needs (SEN), and modern methods of pedagogical and psychological support. Participants engage in practical case studies, share experiences, and receive certificates upon completion.
The latest training session was conducted by Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences and Associate Professor Nursulu Imangaliyeva. The speaker provided an in-depth discussion on the development of inclusive culture and education in schools, and explored practical solutions to current challenges.
“Inclusive culture in schools begins from the heart. Inclusive education is not only about accepting children with special needs, but about fostering a culture of respect, understanding, and support for every student. In such an environment, every child matters, diversity becomes a value, and care becomes the norm,” said the professor.
This course aims to enhance the professional competencies of educators and will continue to be offered on a regular basis going forward.
